We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Psychologist to join our team at Northern Territory PHN. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to clients in a remote area of the Northern Territory.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver culturally appropriate services to clients, utilizing interpreters and a commitment to cultural education and communication.
- Maintain accurate records through data collection, recording, and file keeping.
- Ensure the highest quality services are provided through ongoing professional development, clinical, and cultural supervision.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for individuals.
- Provide services in a culturally relevant and appropriate manner, relating to people at their developmental and cognitive level of functioning.
- Tertiary degree (or equivalent qualification) in Psychology.
- Current unconditional registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Eligibility for Medicare Provider Number.
- Public Liability Insurance/Practising Insurance.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong capability to work independently and as a valued team member.
- Current Ochre Card and Criminal History Check.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Up to $10,000 for relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.
