We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Arnhem Allied Health Centre in Nhulunbuy. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering client-centered care to adults and children with disabilities in remote communities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with diverse needs
- Collaborate with families, support workers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective OT intervention
- Prescribe equipment and home modifications to enhance client independence and quality of life
- Manage a flexible and diverse caseload, including NDIS, private, and aged care clients
- Participate in regular outreach trips to remote communities and engage with local stakeholders to promote health and well-being
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Occupational Therapy
- Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current National Police Clearance and Working with Children's check
- Current Australian Driver's License
