Job Title:

ICU Medical Officer

This is a challenging role requiring the admission and management of critically ill patients under supervision.

The ICU Registrar will be responsible for performing timely clinical assessments, actively participating in ward rounds, handovers, and discharge planning, performing procedures within scope of competence, supervising junior staff and medical students, and engaging in quality assurance, safety, and education initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have an MBBS or equivalent degree with current General or Provisional AHPRA registration, a minimum of 6 months experience in ICU, Anaesthetics, or Emergency Medicine, demonstrated procedural competence and acute resuscitation skills, strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills, and a commitment to continued professional development.

Key Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent degree

  • Minimum 6 months experience in ICU, Anaesthetics, or Emergency Medicine
