Situated along the Murray River, this regional city offers a Mediterranean climate, riverfront scenery, a laid-back lifestyle, local produce, and direct flights to Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and wine scene. The hospital is a modern, 172-bed teaching facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Admission and management of critically ill patients under supervision.
  • Timely clinical assessments and responses to deteriorating patients.
  • Active participation in ward rounds, handovers, and discharge planning.
  • Performance of procedures within scope of competence.
  • Supervision of junior staff and medical students.
  • Engagement in quality assurance, safety, and education initiatives.
Qualifications
  • MBBS or equivalent, with current General or Provisional AHPRA registration.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in ICU, Anaesthetics, or Emergency Medicine.
  • Demonstrated procedural competence and acute resuscitation skills (e.g., ALS, BASIC, APLS).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • PGY4+ by commencement.
  • Demonstrated interest in a career in Intensive Care.
  • Commitment to continued professional development.
