Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled ICU specialist to deliver exceptional care in a leading regional health service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage critically ill patients under supervision, ensuring timely clinical assessments and responses to deteriorating patients.
  • Participate actively in ward rounds, handovers, and discharge planning, performing procedures within scope of competence.
  • Supervise junior staff and medical students, engaging in quality assurance, safety, and education initiatives.
Requirements
  • Hold MBBS or equivalent with current General or Provisional AHPRA registration, demonstrating procedural competence and acute resuscitation skills.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience in ICU, Anaesthetics, or Emergency Medicine, displaying strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Be at PGY4+ level by commencement, demonstrating interest in a career in Intensive Care and commitment to continued professional development.
