POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient inventory management within your location, which includes prioritizing the processing of deliveries for the sales floor, overseeing all inventory transfers, managing defective items, addressing negative stock levels, and executing markdowns. You will also conduct daily and weekly inventory assessments alongside the Store Manager to ensure your team is well-versed in store security and loss prevention protocols.

Your role will encompass, but not be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Guide the Warehouse team on daily stock priorities and delivery processing tasks.
  • Organize and oversee stock deliveries, ensuring a maximum 24-hour transition from receipt to sales floor.
  • Guarantee optimal stock availability through proficient management of replenishment systems.
  • Supervise all inventory transfers and returns, adhering to established deadlines.
  • Ensure the back-of-house layout effectively highlights top-selling brands, categories, and styles.
  • Manage defective stock and write-offs in accordance with company policies.
  • Conduct weekly investigations into negative stock on hand and take appropriate actions.
  • Provide clear direction and support to Warehouse Team Members by setting defined expectations.
  • Offer both positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to team members to foster performance improvement.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a comparable role within a high-volume, large-scale fashion retail environment.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Previous experience in team management.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable to fluctuating workloads and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely execution of daily tasks.
  • Confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders at all business levels.
