Surgical Nursing Program Manager

This role involves coordinating, delivering and evaluating clinical nursing education programs at a ward/service level to support evidence-based, person-centred nursing care in line with Ministry of Health standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement educational strategies that cater to the diverse needs of patients and staff.
- Provide high-quality clinical supervision to enhance skill development among nurses, ultimately contributing to better patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive educational resources for surgical services, ensuring they are relevant, engaging and meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Design and deliver tailored training programs for nursing staff, focusing on skills enhancement and knowledge acquisition.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement, driving continuous quality enhancement.
Requirements:
- A degree in Nursing or a related field, providing a solid foundation for practice and professional growth.
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or a relevant area, enabling effective instructional design and delivery.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia, guaranteeing adherence to national standards and best practices.
