Opportunity Overview

  • Seeking a Category Manager for a fixed term 12 month contract
  • Drive exciting consumer-focused growth for categories and brands
  • Create annual plans, set bold objectives, and lead product launches

By leveraging deep consumer insights, shape marketing strategies that boost revenue and profit. Develop and execute integrated 360 campaigns that align with our goals, making a real impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire performance and strategy of a product category (e.g., Straighteners, Hairdryers, Wet to Dry)
  • Analyse sales data, consumer insights, and market trends to optimise product mix and pricing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure 360 support across channels to drive category performance
  • Plan, manage, activate and monitor marketing promotional campaigns and product launches

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a product/brand or category manager role or similar role within the retail, beauty or consumer goods industry
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to drive category performance
  • Expertise in brand, product and/or category management, pricing strategies, and retail optimisation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple teams
  • Proven track record of driving successful commercial outcomes on brands or product launches
