We are currently seeking a Site Services Personnel at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) Mine. Our CMJV mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay, producing premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets, with an extension of an additional pit at Moorvale South.

About the role :

As a Site Services Personnel, you'll play a vital role in keeping the site running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Building maintenance and repairs
  • Domestic-style plumbing maintenance
  • Groundskeeping
  • General facilities maintenance
  • Services installs, trenching, excavation
  • Site access road maintenance and repairs

The lifestyle :

This position is offered on a 7 Days On and 7 Days Off (Day only) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO, or salary-sacrificed FIFO lifestyle. Employees living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance.

About you :

We're looking for a motivated individual with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. To succeed in this role, you'll need :

  • Previous experience as a Site Service Person or in a similar role (Carpenter or Plumber)
  • Trade qualification in plumbing or carpentry (mandatory)
  • Experience operating civil / ancillary equipment
  • Ability to follow work schedules and adapt to changing priorities
  • A proactive approach to safety and quality in the workplace

Qualified and competent in operating the following highly regarded equipment :

  • Backhoes
  • Loaders
  • Graders
