Maintenance Planner Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to develop short-term plans aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying all work at a task level, including duration thereof.
  2. Planning and sequencing tasks to be fed to the Works Management Scheduler.

This role will involve:

  • Verifying and optimizing strategies using Asset Health inputs.
  • Liaising with Strategy Owner to recommend a course of action.
  • Reviewing all PM01 Work Orders on a routine basis to ensure correct sequencing within plans.
  • Reviewing all work when planning an outage and sequences relevant Work Orders into the outage.
  • Determining plans that need to be restarted and liaising with A&I to ensure this is actioned.
  • Delivering sequenced work packages for complex maintenance activities to scheduler.
  • Planning work in accordance with the SAP Work Management process.
  • Arranging specialist resources to support the completion of complex work.
  • Liaising closely with Supply to ensure parts and materials are delivered on time.
  • Advising changes to the Major Events Calendar for relevant Operation.
  • Reviewing data trends across an equipment class to identify inherent issues common across equipment classes.
  • Improving SAP Master Data to embed Standard Work Packages.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A trade qualification, Engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Equipment knowledge (area specific).
  • Technical understanding of Condition Monitoring and Asset Health Principles.
  • Specific knowledge of planning & scheduling and Work Management process.
  • Awareness of Cost Management and Forecasting Processes.
  • The ability to multi-task and monitor large arrays of live data for exceptions and respond in accordance with a set protocol.
