At MedHealth Group, we're seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Sydney Metro. As a key member of our occupational rehabilitation team, you'll work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide tailored support and guidance.

About the Role

  • Case management and assessment to identify client needs and develop effective rehabilitation plans;
  • Collaboration with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Working across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
  • Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological;
  • Supporting clients to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors ASORC;
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills, compassion, and kindness;
  • Well-developed time management skills and a current NSW Driver's License.
