About the Role

Cochlear Limited, a leading Australian company, is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Calibration Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the maintenance and calibration of our equipment are performed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead a team of technicians to ensure timely and quality maintenance and calibration tasks.
  • Set and monitor team performance metrics and implement solutions to improve equipment availability.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and manage communication updates.
  • Ensure adherence to Cochlear's Quality Management System (QMS) and Hear Behaviour standards.
  • Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Technical competency with a wide range of equipment.
  • Strong understanding of technical documents and drawings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective coaching skills to develop team members.
  • Ability to make informed and effective decisions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborative mindset to achieve common goals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Trade qualification or tertiary degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a team supporting a regulated manufacturing environment.
