Cochlear Limited, a leading global company in implantable hearing solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Calibration Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading a team of technicians to ensure timely and high-quality maintenance and calibration tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate team day-to-day activities to ensure deliverables are met as per agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Set team KPIs in collaboration with the Manager.
- Implement solutions to improve equipment availability and efficiency.
- Monitor and provide feedback on team performance to ensure adherence to Cochlear's Quality Management System (QMS) and Hear Behaviour standards.
- Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions outside standard procedures.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and manage communication updates.
- Demonstrate technical competency with a wide range of equipment.
- Possess a thorough understanding of technical documents and drawings.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Utilise effective coaching skills to develop team members.
- Make informed and effective decisions in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
- Trade qualification or tertiary degree in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years working in a team supporting a regulated manufacturing environment.
