Business Operations Assistant

About the Role:
City of Newcastle is seeking an experienced Business and Customer Support Officer to join our Civil Construction and Maintenance (CC&M) team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-level administrative support, triage customer requests, and coordinate work orders, ensuring compliance with CN's Records Policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support, including managing documents and ensuring compliance with CN's Records Policy.
- Triage customer requests, coordinate work orders, and generate invoices.
- Liaise with internal and external customers, collaborate with CC&M teams to support and monitor compliance with WHS, QA, and system management.
- Coordinate documentation to ensure it is current, completed correctly, and registered in our records system.
Requirements:
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to provide effective administrative support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external customers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems and processes.
