Key Role in Income Generation

The Fundraising Manager plays a vital part in our charity's income strategy, ensuring we meet our financial targets.

  • Develops and implements fundraising plans across various activities and products to drive income growth.
  • Provides exceptional stewardship for existing and new supporters to achieve financial targets and retain donors.
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a calendar of activity, including events, campaigns, and appeals, to attract new supporters and increase unrestricted income.
  • Builds relationships and grows a network of individual, group, and corporate supporters to sustain, grow, and diversify income.
  • Collaborates with the Communications Team to promote fundraising activities and opportunities, securing support and income.
  • Oversees the planning and delivery of new lotteries, presenting impact and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Requires presentation skills to inform audiences about the charity's impact and provide a strong case for support.
  • Receives, processes, and records income in line with financial procedures.
  • Maintains effective use of the CRM database system to maintain supporter relationships and accurate records.
  • Stays up-to-date on fundraising laws, regulations, and best practice.

Proactive relationship building and communicating the importance of our mission are essential aspects of this role.
