About This OpportunityWe are seeking a detail-oriented individual to support our operations and contribute to exhibition programming.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome visitors and assist with inquiries.
- Conduct research on contemporary artists and exhibitions, contributing written analyses where relevant.
- Support day-to-day gallery operations, including administrative tasks and exhibition logistics.
- Attend exhibition openings and other gallery events.
- Participate in artist studio visits, offering insight into contemporary practices.
- Support digital content creation and social media management as needed.
- Gaining experience working in a commercial art gallery.
- Developing critical writing, research, and administrative skills.
- Building relationships with artists, curators, and collectors.
- Potential to earn commission on sales.
- Potential transition into a paid role based on performance.
- Tertiary qualifications in Art History, Business, or a related field.
- Previous gallery experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Strong social media skills, with experience in content creation.
- Confidence in client engagement, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive approach and ability to work independently.
Located within walking distance from Central Station.
1–2 days per week, 10 AM–6 PM, with flexibility as required.
Wednesday–Saturday, 10 AM–6 PM.
