
Contemporary Arts Program Leader

Join the Sydney Opera House as a Producer of Contemporary Performance and be part of a dynamic team that brings artistic vision to life.
In this key leadership role, you will oversee the management of contemporary performance programs and projects, working closely with the Head of Contemporary Performance. You will lead project development, including generating business cases, budgets, and financial models, as well as negotiating contracts and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project business cases and budgets
- Manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Collaborate with marketing and publicity staff to achieve successful artistic and commercial outcomes
- Negotiate contracts with artists, agents, and arts organisations
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering or collaborating on high-level arts projects
- Sound knowledge of the contemporary performance and broader arts programming space
- Proven ability to develop and implement project business cases and budgets
