Exciting Digital Dentistry Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Dentistry Specialist to support students and staff in the use of cutting-edge digital dental technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical and educational support to Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Bachelor of Oral Health (BOH) and Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DCD) students and staff in the use of digital technologies within the School of Dentistry
  • Deliver theoretical and practical teaching, including lectures, demonstrations, and workshops on digital workflows, CAD/CAM design, and manufacturing processes
  • Manage and maintain advanced digital equipment, including intraoral scanners, 3 D printers, milling machines, and benchtop scanners across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols
  • Assist students in the design and fabrication of digital restorations such as crowns, bridges, dentures, surgical guides, and splints
  • Support the development and delivery of curriculum content and assessments aligned with the school's strategic goal of a comprehensive digital curriculum
About You:

Tertiary qualifications in Dental Technology are essential for this role. We are looking for individuals with advanced dental technical skills particularly in relation to all aspects of removable prosthodontics and fixed prosthodontics.

Extensive experience in digital dentistry, including proficiency with design software (3 Shape, Exocad) and CAD/CAM manufacturing is also required.

You will be able to build and maintain close collaborations with academic and clinical staff, industry partners and stakeholders to ensure best practice and innovation.

A willingness and ability to travel between sites is necessary.
