DEP Underwriting Manager

Lead a team to develop and execute underwriting strategies that drive profitable growth, expand market share, and ensure long-term success of the Design and Engineering Practitioners Professional Indemnity product.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Influence development and execution of national underwriting strategy, target market, appetite and coverage to drive profitable growth, expand market share, and ensure long-term success of the product.
- Manage underwriting team and drive profitable growth within DEP PI market.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure competitive, profitable, and market-driven product.
Product Development:
- Develop and execute financial performance of the DEP product.
- Build and execute strategies for the product.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 10 years commercial experience in Design and Engineering Practitioners PI (or equivalent Construction PI).
- Proven leadership experience in developing teams in the insurance industry, focusing on product development, strategy, underwriting, and financial performance.
- Strong understanding of intermediary markets, underwriting principles, and insurance products, particularly in DEP PI.
