Senior Product Lead

We are seeking an experienced Design and Engineering Underwriting Manager to lead the development, execution, and financial performance of our Design and Engineering Practitioners Professional Indemnity (DEP PI) product.
Main Responsibilities:This role involves building the product from scratch, including influencing strategy, managing underwriters, driving profitable growth, and overseeing the go-to-market proposition and distribution strategy for DEP.
- Product Development: Deliver and continually improve the DEP product strategies, define and execute a cohesive underwriting plan, and work closely with the broader team to ensure strategic alignment.
- Underwriting Expertise: Provide expertise into the technology build, ensuring the infrastructure supports product growth, market fit, and scalability.
- Experience: At least 10 years commercial experience in Design and Engineering Practitioners PI or equivalent Construction PI.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing teams in the insurance industry, with a focus on product development, strategy, underwriting, and financial performance.
- Skills: Strong understanding of intermediary markets, underwriting principles, and insurance products, particularly in DEP PI.
- Tech Savviness: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technology vendors and internal teams to define and build technology solutions that support business goals.
