About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team at ICYAMHWS. The successful candidate will provide clinical assessment, intervention, case-management, outreach, and therapy to children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Deliver high-quality interventions, including therapy and case management
- Collaborate with families, service providers, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes
- Prioritize referrals and allocate resources effectively
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., nursing, social work, psychology)
- Membership with the appropriate professional body (AHPRA, AASW)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in child and adolescent mental health or a related field
- Current Victorian Driver's License and Working with Children Check
