  • Supporting elderly consumers in daily activities and living skills
  • Offering personal care, domestic duties, transport, shopping, respite and access to the community
  • Helping consumers live their chosen life

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Availability to work a minimum of three days per week
  • Able to work cooperatively and respectfully with consumers, families and colleagues
  • Genuine interest in assisting the elderly
  • Ability to follow a set task list or care plan for each consumer
  • Capacity to perform home care tasks satisfactorily and within guidelines
  • Knowledge of WHS procedures and safe work practices
  • Understanding of boundaries required to maintain professional relationships with clients
  • Current driver licence with registered, insured and reliable vehicle
  • Reasonable level of physical fitness, health and resilience to meet the demands of the role
  • Evidence of having Influenza and Covid-19 Vaccinations (3 doses)
  • Police Check suitable for aged care
