Warehouse Lead Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take charge of daily operations in our warehouse. The successful candidate will oversee a team, including supervision of 4 forklift operators.

  • Supervision and guidance of a team.
  • Timely and accurate goods receipt and dispatch.
  • Servicing of materials to production lines.
  • Pallet management; both CHEP, and waste pallets.
  • Coordination of cycle counting and stock rotation.
  • Ensuring inventory is properly stored and maintained.
  • Waste collection management and recycling initiatives.
  • Site contact for maintenance and upkeep of equipment and infrastructure.
  • Development of a weekly logistics plan in conjunction with operational teams.
  • Ensure compliance to safety standards and procedures.
  • Root cause analysis and corrective actions where deviations to standards are identified.

This role includes leadership responsibilities and working closely with a high-performing team that prioritizes safety performance.

Requirements
  • Qualifications and/or experience in logistics and warehouse management.
  • Current forklift operator license.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role or industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and customer service focus.
  • Competent computer skills, preferably with experience using SAP.
