We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team. As a valued member, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our elderly clients.
The role involves providing home help services such as general housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping, as well as personal care services like assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Providing home help services such as cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors, washing, folding and ironing laundry
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Providing personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
- Assisting clients to take their medications
- Assisting with mobility and therapy goals

What We Offer
- Guaranteed Hours and Shifts: You will be working guaranteed hours and shifts in the Gympie area
- Award Rate and Benefits: Award rate $33.82 per hour + Super + Paid KM's, Employee benefits program + salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free each year
- Professional Development: Accelerated learning programs to gain your professional qualifications (Cert 3), Paid CPR and First Aid courses
Requirements
- An Open class Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, with experience in with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
