As an experienced early childhood professional, you will be leading a team to deliver high-quality learning and care.

Key responsibilities include mentoring and developing the centre team, managing the centre in the Centre Director's absence, and implementing the Goodstart Practice Guide.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Centre Director in driving operational excellence across the centre
  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre when the Centre Director is absent
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
  • Lead in the Nursery Room (0–2 years) with 2.5 – 3 hours per week of programming time for curriculum, supported by other team members
  • Allocate dedicated time for administration and leadership tasks: 2 hours per week
  • Collaborate with the team to foster a positive and supportive team culture
  • Be a role model, demonstrating exceptional practice
  • Develop meaningful relationships with children, families, and educators

This position requires a Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification, a valid NT Working with Children Check, and First Aid certification. The successful candidate will also be required to register in the Northern Territory if necessary.

Goodstart Moulden - Temple Terrace is a welcoming and stimulating learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, blending natural and manmade play spaces to promote environmental awareness, curiosity, and creativity.
