Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Factory Production Technician is to operate mixers, fillers, baggers using control systems and operating forklifts while ensuring the manufacturing of quality batches with a strong focus on safety. The ideal candidate will collaborate with an experienced team of permanent production staff and participate in hazard reduction and safety pre-starts.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1+ years of prior batch production experience in a factory environment including completion of quality assurance or GMP paperwork.
  • Experience operating computerised machines to blend products (examples include foods, liquids, powders, or chemicals).
  • Forklift experience and license to move pallets and product.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, such as lifting 20kg bags into hoppers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mixers, fillers, baggers using control systems and operating forklifts.
  • Manufacturing quality batches with a strong focus on safety.
  • Collaborating with an experienced team of permanent production staff.
  • Participating in hazard reduction and safety pre-starts.

To succeed in this role, you must have a desire to work stable Day, Afternoon or Night Shifts (no rotating shifts) and be willing to train on Days for 4 - 6 weeks until fully competent.
