Enterprise Middleware Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Middleware Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and supporting middleware solutions in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain middleware solutions using IBM MQ and WebSphere Application Server.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex middleware issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills of colleagues working with middleware technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest middleware technologies and trends, and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of projects and services, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of middleware configurations, implementations, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical middleware systems.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate middleware components into applications.

Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with IBM MQ and WebSphere Application Server.
  • Strong understanding of middleware architecture and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex middleware issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Experience with ITIL service management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins and CHEF for automated deployment and configuration is a plus.
