**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Family Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing therapeutic interventions and support to children, young people, and their families.

**Job Description**

The successful candidate will provide counselling, mediation, group work, and practical support to whole families to help break the cycle of homelessness. They will work closely with parents and children to develop strategies that promote stability and engagement in family, education, and the community.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide individual and family therapy sessions
- Develop and implement case plans to address complex needs
- Facilitate group work to build skills and confidence
- Collaborate with internal networks to ensure effective service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports

**Requirements**

- Tertiary qualification in Social Work or similar field
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong understanding of child protection frameworks in NSW
- Commitment to social justice and addressing rights and responsibilities of vulnerable children
- Experience working with children and families with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
