Requirements:
  • Significant experience in local government, particularly in civil engineering or a related discipline, with a focus on infrastructure projects and capital works
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Experience in civil construction
  • Strong knowledge of local government regulations and Australian standards
  • Competency in using engineering software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil CAD)
  • Advanced Worksite Traffic Management accreditation
  • Proficiency in engineering project management
  • Experience in contract management, procurement, and dealing with contractors
  • Knowledge of asset management and infrastructure planning
