Software Development Specialist

Gonzer Associates, L. J. is seeking a skilled Software Analyst to join our team. As a Software Analyst, you will play a crucial role in guiding project teams to develop effective software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to provide project guidance and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Study business and software application domains to understand problem spaces and work with project teams to develop effective software solutions.
- Act as a liaison between software users and Subject Matter Experts to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate, and verify requirements for complex changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.
- Translate requirements into system designs that meet business objectives and adapt more efficient processes where possible.
- Create business requirements documents, context diagrams, system specifications, use cases, and workflow diagrams to convey requirements to the development team.
- Ensure that artifacts required by the ITS governance process and Secure Systems Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) are created and support the project scope.
- Foster the adoption of standard patterns and designs that support application, data, and security architecture strategies for applications.
- Stay up-to-date with changing technology needs and frameworks to best serve the technical and business needs of the organization.
- Leverage the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) for all activities and best practices, patterns, and standards for development of new and existing systems.
- Assist with creating accurate time estimates for the completion of technical documentation and execution tasks.
- Manage requirements throughout the life of the contract using a requirements management plan and traceability to ensure coverage between the source of each requirement and the test case(s) it will be tested by.
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
- 7 years of experience performing analysis by eliciting, analyzing stakeholder business needs, and converting them into verified and validated functional and non-functional requirements for development
- 7 years of experience creating and maintaining software development artifacts for communication of requirements, including context diagrams, textual use cases, swim lane diagrams, report specifications, wireframes, user interface specifications, and non-functional requirements specifications
- 7 years of experience facilitating requirement workshops, JAD sessions, and structured walkthroughs, practicing effective communication to ensure requirements are understood, conveyed, and met
- 6 years of experience creating test plans/cases, managing defects with development teams, and working with users on User Acceptance Testing
- 6 years of experience managing requirements throughout the Requirements Management Lifecycle, including creation and execution of a Requirements Management Plan, requirements traceability, establishing requirements baselines, and managing requirements change control
- 3 years of experience working with healthcare and billing applications
