Job Title: Mechanical Tradesperson

This role involves performing maintenance activities to ensure the optimal operation of mechanical systems and equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as experience in water treatment plant maintenance.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in mechanical systems and equipment
  • Participate in the development and review of preventive maintenance checklists and safe work procedures
Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing scheduled maintenance activities as requested
  • Responding to unscheduled maintenance activities as required
  • Installing and repairing mechanical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment
  • Following mechanical code, manuals, schematic drawings, blueprints, and other specifications
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Minimum 3 years' post-trade experience in a related field
  • Proactive attitude towards preventive and reliability-centered maintenance
  • Experience in water treatment plant maintenance is desirable
