Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will have the ability to work flexibly, covering afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with penalty rates applying for weekend work.

About The Role:

This temporary part-time position is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and working in a fast-paced environment. As a Reception Officer, you will be responsible for providing quality service to our customers, greeting them, and assisting with program information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries, and resolving issues promptly
  • Greet customers, provide program information, and ensure a positive experience
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to achieve organizational goals and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience in handling cash, reconciliation, and operating computerized point-of-sale equipment
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced customer service role
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in using a computerized member/customer management system (database)
  • Demonstrated ability to participate and contribute actively in a team environment
  • Strong customer service ethos and demonstrated customer-centric approach to service provision
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff and members of the public both verbally and in writing

Benefits:

  • Commencing salary up to $29.66 per hour, with opportunities for progression
