Job Role:

A Claims Examiner position is now available at our Adelaide office, where you will investigate medical costs associated with workers compensation claims and determine eligibility. As a Claims Examiner, you will play a key role in ensuring that claims are processed efficiently and effectively.

This permanent position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent customer service focus. The ideal candidate will have experience completing administration tasks within a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently.

About the Role

  • Investigate medical costs associated with workers compensation claims and determine eligibility.
  • Process claims in accordance with relevant legislation and policy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to progress strategies and actions.
  • Undertake ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements, payments, and medical expenses.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology, or Exercise Science) is advantageous.
