Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a key role within our organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality and has experience in managing teams and implementing processes.

About the Role:

  • Maintain and monitor quality objectives and activities supporting corporate business plans and policies
  • Provide leadership and direction to your team, developing them into high-performing groups
  • Conduct internal checks to ensure critical control points are being performed in accordance with procedures
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities, processes, and products in accordance with HACCP and SQF Standards
  • Maintain and enhance the Quality Assurance System and documentation
  • Prepare, review, and monitor policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Report, analyse, and present data
  • Liaise with customers, auditors, and external parties as required
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints

About You:

  • Applied Science Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent relevant tertiary qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of quality systems and documentation
  • Working knowledge of SQF and HACCP
  • Experience in internal auditing and GMP practices
  • Ideal experience in pet food/meat industry or high-risk food manufacturing
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Computer competency in Microsoft Office programs
  • A curious nature with high decision-making quality and ability to work independently
  • Driven to make a difference through influencing others
