
Food Safety and Quality Manager

We are seeking a Quality Assurance professional with experience in the food industry to join our business as the head of quality and safety operations.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety across our food manufacturing operations. This includes managing HACCP documentation and programs, internal and external audits, staff induction and training, daily factory inspections, and supplier compliance checks.
Responsibilities:- HACCP Management: Develop and implement HACCP plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Audit Management: Conduct internal and external audits to verify compliance with HACCP plans and regulatory requirements.
- Staff Induction and Training: Provide comprehensive training to new staff members on HACCP procedures, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Daily Factory Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of production areas to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
- Supplier Compliance Checks: Verify compliance with HACCP plans and regulatory requirements among suppliers.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and HACCP management within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This role is based in Australia, and candidates must currently reside in Australia with full-time unrestricted working rights.
