We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our experienced allied health team in Northwest - Rouse Hill and Richmond or Southwest - Campbelltown.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate occupational therapy assessments and interventions for individuals of all ages
  • Support clients in their daily tasks and activities, building on their current strengths, needs, and priorities
  • Conduct in-clinic and community-based assessments, including activities of daily living, mobility, and home safety
  • Prescribe and recommend equipment, including basic and specialized equipment
  • Communicate assessed needs clearly and precisely to clients and funding organizations
Requirements
  • Minimum completion of an associated degree in occupational therapy
  • Professional experience in the field will determine assigned caseload
  • Commitment to a person-centered approach and excellent collaboration and communication skills
Technical Competencies
  • Understanding of occupational performance and its relation to developmental stages
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy assessment tools and equipment needs
  • Ability to assess and prescribe adaptive equipment and assistive devices
  • Range of intervention strategies to address needs related to daily living, functional performance, and sensory processing
Performance Goals and Reviews
  • Realistic KPI indicators set according to level of experience and pay level
  • KPI measures include client outcome quality assurance reviews, productivity output, and willingness to expand scope of work
  • Professional skills include organizing daily timetables, planning for availability, and dealing with clients and suppliers in a concise and professional manner
