Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Northwest - Rouse Hill and Richmond or Southwest - Campbelltown. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering supports in early childhood intervention, as well as broadening the age range of service in both the therapeutic and assessment space.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and evaluate occupational therapy assessments and interventions for clients of all ages.
- Support clients in developing their daily living skills, including activities of daily living, mobility, and home safety.
- Prescribe and recommend equipment to facilitate and enhance occupational performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and funding organizations to ensure clear understanding of assessed needs and goals.
- Minimum completion of an associated degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Professional experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on early childhood intervention and community-based services.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to person-centered and family-centered approaches.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
