Job Description

As a Loss Prevention and Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting the business from financial loss and ensuring a safe working environment.

You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks, investigating incidents, and implementing strategies to prevent losses. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to think critically will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site visits to measure compliance and identify areas for improvement
  • Investigate incidents and provide transparent feedback to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent losses and improve safety
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communication and escalation of issues
  • Contribute to achieving stocktake benchmark and inventory accuracy targets
  • Identify high-loss stores and develop recommendations for prevention strategies
  • Support store teams during thefts and significant stock loss events
  • Provide factual and complete evidence for stakeholders' decision-making

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or in retail management
  • Strong understanding of store operations, people management, and inventory control
  • Customer-centric approach and ability to prioritize customer needs
  • Experience completing stocktakes and understanding inventory management
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and regulatory requirements
