An exciting opportunity has emerged for a service-oriented engineer to join our team in New South Wales, focusing on our Patient Monitoring solutions. This pivotal role involves direct interaction with customers, fostering strong relationships while delivering expert technical guidance on the maintenance, installation, and servicing of our medical devices, both software and hardware, in accordance with industry regulations and standards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service through technical support, corrective and preventive maintenance, repairs, commissioning, and installation of medical equipment, along with software and hardware upgrades.
  • Engage actively in the sales process, providing specialized technical assistance throughout the customer relationship lifecycle, from pre-sales to implementation and post-sales support.
  • Lead the management of technical escalations, ensuring timely resolution and consistent communication with all stakeholders in line with company protocols.
  • Identify the most cost-effective solutions to minimize customer downtime.
  • This role is based in Sydney and requires regular travel across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
  • Willingness to work additional hours outside of standard business hours as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities as defined by Philips.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing service engineering role within the medical equipment or biomedical sector, particularly with hospital patient monitoring systems.
  • Strong IT proficiency and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • A valid Australian driver's license is required, and a Police Check will be part of the recruitment process.
