About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Industry Engagement Specialist to join our Planning Department. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating personnel scheduling to optimize work allocations across multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate personnel scheduling to ensure efficient work allocation and meet client requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Trade personnel, providing exceptional communication and support.
  • Manage Bus Drivers and other Ancillaries to adhere to fatigue guidelines, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Evaluate planned work to ensure adherence to fatigue guidelines, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Planning teams to meet labour plans while understanding client requirements and processes.
  • Provide clear communication with relevant departments regarding plans, requirements, and information distribution.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A sound understanding of the mining and resources sector.
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to provide genuine empathy and care for employees.
  • High levels of self-motivation, with the ability to work to deadlines and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office.
