Job Summary:

The Decarbonisation Engagement Specialist is responsible for promoting the NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub and its programs through engagement and communication strategies. This includes content development, coordination of events and roadshows, social media management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Develop and implement communication strategies to raise the profile of the Hub's programs and outcomes incorporating internal and digital communications, media outreach, social media platform management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support Events and Promotions: Support the delivery and promotion of all events, funds, and campaigns of the Hub, meeting defined objectives and ensuring maximum profile for the Hub and its networks.
  • Establish Industry Relationships: Explore and develop relationships with industry, government, partner institutions, and community to forward the Hub's reach and engagement.

Requirements:

  • Australian working rights or citizenship.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent experience, or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Proven track record in delivering marketing strategies that achieve measurable outcomes in support of organisational objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in distilling complex information into straightforward messages for communication to a diverse group of stakeholders in support of strategic goals.
