Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor to lead our Gas Station team at Costco Wholesale. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our gas station, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead, schedule, and train a team of gas station employees to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to members, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are handled in a friendly, efficient, and respectful manner.
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Oversee the daily operations of the gas station, including fueling, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing filters and nozzles, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Safety and Security
    • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to fire codes.
    • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory and Supplies
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all supplies are stocked and available for use.
    • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent waste and minimize losses.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required by management.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Management Experience
    • Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Customer Service Skills
    • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations and Maintenance Skills
    • Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Safety and Security Skills
    • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, members, and management.
