About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structures Supervisor to join our team at CPB Contractors, working on the Tunnel and Station Package for the Cross River Rail project in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the utilization of all on-site resources, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and managing site security and material deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the utilization of all on-site resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure all workers are inducted onto site before commencing work and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standards, identifying and mitigating any risks or hazards.
  • Manage site security, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • Coordinate and manage material and plant deliveries, storage, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of work and maintain a zero-harm environment.
  • Forward plan daily, weekly, and monthly construction work, including resource requirements and trade coordination.
  • Ensure subcontractors adhere to safety requirements and maintain accurate records.
About You
  • Proven experience in a similar role in the construction industry, with a strong background in structures and tunneling.
  • Experience managing self-performed works and coordinating with subcontractors.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy structures, including lifting operations, and experience working on major building projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully and autonomously within a fast-paced project environment, delivering on deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Commitment to a zero-harm environment and a strong focus on safety and environmental sustainability.
