
Site Acquisition Director

The successful candidate will lead on the identification, initial research, and appraisal of new sites, focusing on negotiating and agreeing prices and terms directly with vendors and agents.
A key aspect of this role is to have strong commercial acumen to assess project feasibility by liaising with internal teams on benchmarking, costing, and terms.
- Significant Land Management experience in New Homes Development
- A solid understanding of land purchase processes and relevant legislations
- Knowledge of design and construction processes
- Confidence in chairing land meetings and engaging with consultants
This includes regularly reviewing and updating site valuations and budgets to reflect current proposals and values.
The ideal candidate will be an influential character with strong listening and negotiation skills.
They will also possess a degree in a relevant discipline, such as Real Estate or Town Planning.
The ability to build relationships and interact effectively with stakeholders is crucial for success in this role.
Additionally, the candidate should have high commercial acumen and awareness.
Strong organisational, planning, and workload management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, are also essential.
