Overview

McConnell Dowell is seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Project Coordinator to join their project team on the Groote Eylandt Wharf Remediation Project in the Northern Territory. This role plays a vital part in the successful delivery of a critical project for our client.

As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing on-site mechanical engineering functions through subordinates, obtaining relevant design parameter information, and monitoring quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material.

About You
  • • Tertiary qualification in mechanical or civil Engineering.

• Specialist experience in project engineering and a working knowledge of project management.
• Balanced knowledge in mechanical engineering with hands-on experience in similar environments.
• Sound working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same.
• Strong and empathetic communication skills with proven ability to engage others.
• Personal values aligned to McConnell Dowell's values of safety and care, honesty and integrity, customer focus, teamwork, and performance excellence.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure takes into account the average salaries for senior mechanical engineers in the Northern Territory, as well as the company's overall compensation package.
