Lead Mechanical Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Lead Mechanical Project Manager to join our project team on the Groote Eylandt Wharf Remediation Project in the Northern Territory.
This role plays a crucial part in the successful delivery of a critical project for our client, requiring effective management of on-site mechanical engineering functions, including managing subordinates and coordinating activities with various stakeholders.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for obtaining relevant design parameter information, monitoring quality and quantities of incoming equipment and material, and ensuring that project engineering completion is on time and within budget.
You will also participate in planning future requirements, direct site surveys and preparatory work prior to construction, and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and planning authorities to ensure satisfactory completion of structures and construction work.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification in mechanical or civil engineering, specialist experience in project engineering, and a working knowledge of project management. A balanced knowledge in mechanical engineering, hands-on experience in a similar environment, sound working knowledge of HS&E requirements, and strong communication skills are also essential.

What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000 AUD, depending on your experience and qualifications.
