Advanced Trainee/Fellow Opportunity

This role presents a unique chance to grow professionally as an Advanced Trainee/Fellow within the General Medicine department. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for participating in outpatient clinics, leading teams, assessing emergencies, and contributing to quality management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in at least two outpatient clinics per week.
  • Lead a team daily to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Assess and manage acute emergencies while arranging ongoing management.
  • Contribute to the Department's teaching and continuing education program.
  • Manage the General Medicine Department TMO roster and coordinate Paediatric after-hours services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and staff.
  • Clinical experience and competence in paediatric medicine practice.
