**Paediatric Critical Care Professional Opportunity**

We are seeking an Advanced Trainee/Registrar to join our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill and injured children as part of a specialist PICU team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care to critically ill and injured children
  • Gain broad exposure to paediatric critical care under supervision
  • Participate in assessment and management of acute paediatric emergencies
  • Perform emergency and routine procedures appropriate to level of training and experience
  • Engage in clinical teaching and contribute to ongoing education within the unit
  • Participate in research projects related to paediatric intensive care to support evidence-based practice

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner
  • Minimum 2 years satisfactory experience as an Intern/Resident Medical Officer/Registrar in a recognised teaching hospital
  • Clinical skills appropriate for duties performed in the work unit
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills (both clinical and individual)
