
Leading Paediatric Dental Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Unit Head to join our paediatric dental team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and governing dental clinical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and govern dental clinical activities, including planning, monitoring, and policy development.
- Provide clinical leadership and support skill development for paediatric dental staff.
- Deliver general and emergency dental care to complex paediatric patients.
- Promote teamwork and coordination for optimal clinical outcomes.
- Drive quality and safety improvements through professional development and audits.
Requirements:
- Registration as a Dentist and Dental Specialist with relevant regulatory bodies.
- Demonstrated ability to take provide clinical leadership and influence clinicians in their provision of paediatric dental services.
- Demonstrated ability to provide direction and guidance to staff, clients, students and professional groups.
- Proven ability to discuss clinical performance and improvement plans with clinicians.
- Skill in problem solving and decision making at an organisational and individual level.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and management of a clinical team in a public sector environment.
- Experience as a Senior Dental Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry at a tertiary referral paediatric hospital.
