Key Role:

A highly skilled Technical Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing OCI-based infrastructure solutions for clients, providing subject-matter expertise, supporting business-as-usual (BAU) requirements, and guiding team members in building components as part of these solutions.

This position involves leading technical teams to deliver projects and work packages, contributing to project planning, developing complex technical architecture solutions, creating design documents, gathering technical requirements, translating them into infrastructure and software capabilities, and solving technical and performance problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical teams to deliver projects / work packages for Consulting and Managed Services
  • Develop complex Technical Architecture Solutions and create design documents
  • Gather technical requirements and translate them into infrastructure and software capabilities
  • Assist in solving technical and performance problems hands-on within the technical infrastructure
  • Act as the trusted advisor and build strong and profitable relationships with customers
  • Optimise, fine-tune, fit for purpose our managed services operations while applying knowledge of customer's business
  • Work with our solutions team and contribute to the development of proposals to meet customer requirements and progress those opportunities

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years consulting experience with technical architecture analysis and design in Oracle-based environments
  • Strong Linux system administration skills
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) infrastructure architecting with recent hands-on OCI implementation and BAU support experience
  • Experience working successfully with technical teams to build consensus and support and deploy initiatives aligned to business objectives
  • Excellent management, stakeholder engagement, and technical communication skills

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

  • Infrastructure and Cloud Architecture experience in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Exadata Cloud@Customer or TeamIM
  • Familiarity in supporting Oracle DBAs on Oracle-based infrastructure
  • A proven track record of leading, coaching and motivating technical teams including working with third parties/vendors, including mentoring experience of more junior team members
  • Relevant OCI & Oracle certifications

Security Clearance:

You must have the ability to obtain a Government security clearance.
